This application is helpful to designate true north.

In flight, I like the ability to see a clear, large compass rose for flight headings on my iPhone, as a backup to my dash compass. I recommend this app! Its free, gives both a compass digital and compass rose heading, great for light sport pilots.

So far no good. The advertising wont let me calibrate and see true North. Ill try I little longer then delete and try a different app.

Whats annoying? Constant nag screens and ads that are FULL SCREEN that you have to wait to time out. Also, mag north and true north settings seem to yield identical results, so what to believe? Other than this app will be deleted so fast it would make Steve Jobs head spin.

Like the compass feature old school look with modern features. Lat / long feature is a nice bonus for field work.

Works as advertised at this point. Used the app twice and and it pointed me in the correct direction to set up my HD Antennas

I "figure 8ed" over and over. It never calibrated it wouldnt return to the original "wrong" setting if I moved it and returned it. Overpriced.IKIK

Doesnt seem accurate. Could anything interfere with its "reading"?

There are times when the compass is not accurate. Needs to be updated.

Installed it and used it once. Didnt realize it keeps running in the background when you blank the ipad screen - my ipad overheated severely - it went from 96% stored power to 6% in about 3 hours and became alarmingly hot to the touch. I definitely dont endorse this app unless they make it safer!

Just loaded it and successfully tested the accuracy against my trusty hand compass. Need to hold it flat but that is how a compass works.. Wish it had a google map overlay, but it does access google map if the arrow in the middle of the dial is tapped.. Not intuitive but handy
